Founded in 2001 in Genoa, Italy, NTS has a mission to become a leading company in the Power and Control Electronics industry, with products and services dedicated to the most sophisticated sectors such as the Defense Industry, the Naval Industry, and the Railway Industry.
NTS pursues this goal through a combination of internal and external growth, achieved through acquisitions of specialized players that excel in high-end markets such as Defense, Naval, and Railway.
NTS also evolves with a progressive international presence to position itself and compete in a global market.
History & Performance
After organic growth and a number of acquisitions, NTS Group has embarked on a more focused acquisition strategy in recent years that has led to subsequent compound growth by increasing total sales 4-fold over a four-year period.
The two most notable acquisitions in recent years are Mesar Srl in 2016, a leader in Power Electronics for the Defense and Railway sector, and SAE Electronic Conversion in 2018 (and completed in 2020), a leader in the Naval sector.
The current market positioning sees NTS concentrated in the Defense, Rail and Naval sectors but with significant presence also in diversified industrial sectors where it can leverage its technical and technological expertise.
These sectors include industrial applications, Automotive and Medical equipment.
he Group has a broad customer base with the prevailing presence of the most important market players and the best-known Brands in their respective fields of application.
Technologies and Capabilities

Le competenze di NTS sono, fra le altre, quelle legate alle attività di EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Service) per i propri clienti, che di EES (Electronic Engineering Service) quali progettazione e realizzazione di prototipi (Hardware/Software e progettazione meccanica) per prodotti proprietari, customizzati in conformità alle esigenze dei propri clienti.
Mesar è attiva nella progettazione e realizzazione di apparati elettrici ed elettronici con un focus particolare per convertitori di potenza elettrica, per il settore ferroviario, navale e avionico.
Mesar è in grado di offrire ai propri clienti un’ampia gamma di service tecnici di supporto ed assistenza, garantendo, oltre alla riparazione di apparati elettromeccanici ed elettronici con un elevato contenuto tecnico, anche pacchetti di manutenzione periodica e preventiva.
La principale forza di SAE consiste nella capacità di customizzare i prodotti, nei servizi tecnici e nei programmi di manutenzione di apparecchiature elettroniche navali situate in tutto il mondo.
SAE progetta e produce UPS, Carica batterie, Inverters, convertitori di frequenza, convertitori DC/DC.
SAE ha oltre 40 anni di presenza di successo nel settore Navale ma opera anche in applicazioni speciali nel settore Oil&Gas e nella realizzazione di UPS per centrali Nucleari.
